When I opened the green door, to my wonderment, I found a part of myself that had been missing for 72 years.
The lost piece was the visual artist in me. After representing & advocating for illustrators for many years, I finally chose to explore my own artistic self-expression that was waiting in the wings.
The images that I’ve created employ dappled light and vibrant colors to translate our everyday world somewhat in the impressionistic style, thus: Imprezzionz. I hope you enjoy these images, as it gives me great joy to create & share them with you.
By the way, the green door is not just any door, but the entry to Monet’s home in Giverny, France, one of the centers of Impressionism.
What is your creative self looking to express? I invite all to open the door, look around and discover your own muse. Welcome home!
